There are FOUR VOICES coming up in
Revelation 18
Voice of Judgment 1-3

Voice of Rejoicing 20-24 Heaven rejoices - Happy voices of
joy.
1 Voice of Judgment - Fallen, Fallen – Detestable Birds and Demons
Revelation 18:1-2 - After this, I saw ANOTHER ANGEL coming
down from heaven. He had great authority, and
the earth was illuminated
by his splendor.

With a mighty voice he shouted:
"FALLEN!
FALLEN is Babylon the Great!
SHE HAS BECOME A HOME FOR DEMONS
AND A HAUNT FOR EVERY EVIL SPIRIT,
A HAUNT FOR EVERY UNCLEAN AND DETESTABLE BIRD.
An
angel is dispatched by God to perform His work. This Angel sheds a
greater light of authority than was shed by previously angels. This angel is speaking prophetically as if the fall of
Babylon has already taken place and it surely will come to pass soon. God declares
the end from the beginning. [1]
Fallen is
used twice and in my BS perhaps it’s to indicate TWO STAGES of destruction of Babylon;
A.
The
Religious Babylon, the religious system is destroyed about 3
½ years into the tribulation by the Antichrist.
B.
The
Political Babylon, the Commercial
economic system of Rome, near the end of the tribulation
will be blown to bits in a thermonuclear holocaust and the results are that no
human being will ever live there again.
More specifically it will only be fit for a
home for demons.
Spiritual Adultery – Following Other Gods
Revelation 18:3 - For all the nations HAVE DRUNK the
maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth COMMITTED ADULTERY with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her
excessive luxuries."
Committing adultery is symbolic of Israel worshiping and following
after other gods, instead of the ONE God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But this is about even more, it’s about
committing commercial
adultery with their assets,
placing all their emphases and time on making Big Money at the expense of seeking things of God.
There was a time in my life that chasing and collecting Lionel Trains became my god, I began to skip church so I could be the first to buy up all the trains
offered in the Sunday Paper. After a month,
I realized what I was doing and repented;[2]
I still had a HUGE Layout and an UNBELIEVABLE collection.
2 Voice of Separation –The Faithful are called out
Revelation 18:4 - Then I heard ANOTHER
VOICE from heaven say:
"COME OUT
OF HER, MY PEOPLE, so
that you will not share in her SINS, so that you will not receive any of her PLAGUES;
The Son of God calls out to
the faithful children of Israel[3] to
come out of the FAKE FALSE church before
the plagues
destroyed it.[4]
The unbelieving world cannot be saved.[5] This
would be about midpoint into the tribulations.
These Believers are those who came to Christ during the first half of
the tribulations,
they are not the
church which has already been RAPTURED.
They have no fellowship with their old sin nature,[6] but
are faithful to the end along with the SEALED
144,000 Jehovah Witnesses. He will not lose even one.[7]
Double Trouble – Her Sins Stink to High Heaven
Revelation 18:5-8 - FOR HER SINS ARE PILED UP TO HEAVEN
and God has remembered her crimes.
6 Give back to her as she has given; PAY HER BACK DOUBLE for what
she has done. Mix her a DOUBLE PORTION from
her own CUP.

Give her as much torture
and grief as
the glory and luxury she gave herself. In her heart SHE
BOASTS, `I SIT AS QUEEN; I am not a widow, and I will never
mourn.'
8 Therefore IN ONE DAY her plagues will overtake her:
death, MOURNING and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
God has planed the destruction
of Political
Babylon, paying her back DOUBLE for her blasphemous works, making her
drink every last drop to the very brim of her very own cup of iniquity, and then totally
destroying her IN ONE DAY.[8] In
my BS,
I’m thinking they are destroyed suddenly, possibly with Nuclear
Destruction.
Did
you see it? Scripture
lists MOURNING as one of the plagues.
3 The Voice of Mourning – First of the WOE, WOES – Burning & Smoke
Revelation 18:9-10 - When the kings of the earth who committed
adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning,
they will weep and MOURN over
her.
10 Terrified at her torment, they WILL
STAND FAR OFF
and cry:
"`WOE! WOE, O great city, O Babylon,
city of power!
IN ONE HOUR your doom has come!'
In my BS, I see the city of Babylon having
been rebuilt and is now in splendor with much trading of merchandise and
known for its culture, fashion, stocks and bonds. The emphasis has shifted from WALL STREET to BABYLON
with
the merchants making money hand over fist with no thought of God.
Babylon
has become the hub, the center of import and export not just for a region, but
for the entire world of traders of
commerce and is now the center for
the ANTI-CHRIST and the
nefarious activities of his minions including human trafficking.
TWO Woes are symbolic of a DOUBLE PORTION of wrath being heaped on the city; there
is much weeping and MOURNING because of the
loss of the vast
power, wealth, jobs, and shipping.
1)
The Kings of the
earth
- Their import and export trading of luxuries is lost.
2)
The Merchants of
the earth – Unemployment - Their income is totally lost.
IN ONE HOUR the city is
destroyed... In my BS, I see the term “one hour” as symbolic of the WRATH of God that
will be accomplished suddenly on this city, maybe in only a minute. That’s probably why they stand afar off because of possible NUCLEAR RADIATION. Just
saying
Cargoes Gone – Woe’s defined:
Oil, wine, silver, gold, wheat, cattle all gone
Revelation 18:11-13 - The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more-
12 cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine
linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of
every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble;
13 cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and
olive oil, of
fine flour and
wheat; cattle and
sheep; horses and carriages; and
bodies and
souls of men.
SEVEN Categories of Losses:
- Gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, rubies and other
precious stones
- Fine linen, silk and scarlet – to make religious
clothing
- Furniture, vessels, items made from wood, ivory and
precious metals.
- Ointments, frankincense, cinnamon – religious odors
- Sheep, meat, wheat, flour, wine, oil – luxurious living
gone
- Horses and carriages – Today’s Tractor Trailers and BMW’s
- Merchandising the Souls of men – paying someone to
intercede to God on your behalf.
Merchandise Gone – More of the Woes
Revelation 18:14-16 - They will say, `The FRUIT
you longed for is gone from you. All your RICHES
and SPLENDOR have vanished, never to be recovered.'
15 The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth
from her WILL STAND FAR
OFF, terrified at her
torment. They will weep and MOURN
16 and cry out: "`WOE! WOE, O great city, dressed in fine linen, purple and
scarlet, and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!
Did you see it? Because of the splendor of Babylon, the world had moved from seeking basic NEEDS to seeking the DESIRES of their hearts. They were now ACCUSTOMED to being AFFLUENT with the finest in luxuries and fine linen, garments of purple and
scarlet. They coveted riches, jewelry and gold, precious
stones and pearls; cosmetics and even the finest in GOURMET
FOODS. They
sought the very best of meats, vegetables, fruits, and breads; WINES and LIQUORS from all over
the world, all coming through the center of pagan BABYLON. ALL LOST IN
ONE HOUR.[9]
Lost Jobs – In One Hour the
Great City burns
Revelation 18:17-18 - IN ONE HOUR
such great wealth has been brought to
ruin!'
"Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and
ALL WHO EARN THEIR LIVING FROM THE SEA,
WILL STAND FAR OFF.
18 When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim,
`Was there ever a city like this GREAT CITY?'
Transportation
has been disrupted, empty ships cannot be loaded and the loaded cargo
ships cannot be unloaded; sailors and haulers lose their job. At this writing, the COVID 19 Virus has devastated the world economy. There is a shortage of workers; afraid to
leave home. Shelves in the stores are sparse, not enough
truckers to transport goods. Ships are stacking
up waiting to be unloaded.
Corporate
Giants, their workers and consumers all watch it unfold from FAR OFF, and in my BS, they
STAND FAR OFF because of the devastation of NUCLEAR
FALL OUT.

years ago, on April 26 1986, there was the worst disaster in history at Chernobyl Nuclear
Power Plant near Pripyat in the Soviet Union. 100 deaths were attributed to the accident
and 18 Billion was spent for the decontamination team of more than 500,000.
68,000 people were evacuated and the site will be considered
habitable again in 320 years.
Shipping Ruined – The Finality of
the WOES
Revelation 18:19 - They will THROW DUST on their
heads,
and with weeping and MOURNING cry out:
"`WOE!
WOE, O great city, where all who had ships on the sea, became rich
through her wealth!
IN ONE HOUR she has been
brought to ruin!
It was their custom to kick up
dust and sand to show their intense displeasure.[10]
This is where the term “Raising Sand” came from. Suddenly in SHORT ORDER they have been
brought to nothing.

The Voice of
Rejoicing - Rejoicing in Heaven
Revelation 18:20-21 - REJOICE OVER HER, O HEAVEN! REJOICE,
saints and apostles
and prophets!
God has judged her for the way she treated
you.”
21 Then a MIGHTY ANGEL picked up a
BOULDER THE SIZE OF A LARGE MILLSTONE
and threw it into the sea, and said:
"With such VIOLENCE the great city of BABYLON
will be thrown down,
NEVER TO BE FOUND AGAIN.
While
they are “RAISING SAND” on earth; they
are REJOICING in heaven at
the destruction of
Babylon. It
makes a difference on where your heart is, either you are in the curse of
Mourning
or in the blessing
of Rejoicing.
Our attention is drawn to the sudden VIOLENCE and complete ANNIHILATION of the great city of Babylon. Jeremiah the prophet, testifies that just
as a stone disappears when cast into the sea, so shall this city be to rise no more.[11] The huge size of this MILLSTONE represents Severe Judgment.
No More Sound – Voice of
Bridegroom never heard again
Revelation 18:22-23 - The MUSIC
of harpists and
musicians, flute
players and trumpeters, WILL NEVER BE HEARD in you again.
No workman
of any trade will
ever be found in you again.
The SOUND
of a millstone WILL NEVER BE HEARD in you again.
23 The light of a lamp will never shine in
you again.
The
VOICE of bridegroom
& bride WILL NEVER BE
HEARD in
you again.
Your merchants
were the world's great men.
By your MAGIC SPELL all the nations
were led astray.
With the destruction of the
Great City Babylon, social gatherings
and musical performances will no longer be on their mind, craftsmen producing
the fine arts will cease, factories will be shut down, the LIGHT of God’s word cannot
be found, the lights of the NEON gods
they have made in Hollywood will go out, and no one will even think of getting
married.
The MAGIC SPELL[12] of the ONE WORLD
CHURCH is
destroyed by the slaying of the Harlot,
the false
religion that led the nations
astray.
“The
New Age movement” today has paved the way for many churches to fall away from
the basic doctrines
of the Bible and are easily seduced into
the new “ONE WORLD CHURCH” order.[13]
“APOSTASY” means an
abandonment or desertion of principles of Faith; they will have a form of godliness, but will
deny its power.[14]
Revelation
18:24 - In her (Babylon) was found the blood of PROPHETS
and of the SAINTS,
and of all who have been killed on the earth."
The demise of Babylon, the capitol of the BEAST’S KINGDOM
marks THE
END of the TRIBULATION
PERIOD
and sets the stage for the long awaited SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.
Note: Samuel LIVED and SERVED in the Temple of
God with the Priest
Eli, YET HE DID NOT
PERSONALLY KNOW THE LORD.[15] (That
might be you.)
God had spoken to him on THREE
other occasions, but it was only on the FOURTH was he able to receive the Word of God personally
for himself. It’s in the Book.
God has sent the Prophets, the Priest, His written Word and
His very own Son;
and in the end times he will sent 144,000 witnesses, then two more evangelist and finally three angels to share the good news of the GOSPEL
message.
How many times must He show you the Way, the Truth and the Life?[16]
God waited seven additional days
for man to come to Him[17]
then when the time was right God closed the door on the Ark, a door which no man can open.[18]
You must be a member of the Kingdom of God now, in
order to have a PASSPORT to the Kingdome of God that’s yet to come; God has given you a lifetime to find
him.
ONCE THE
DOOR IS SHUT, IT WILL NOT BE OPENED.

will go in tears to seek the LORD their God.
They will bind themselves to the LORD in an EVERLASTING
COVENANT that
will not be forgotten. -- Deuteronomy
4:30-31 - In the distant future, when you are suffering all these
things, YOU WILL FINALLY RETURN TO THE LORD. For the LORD your God is merciful; he will not
abandon you or destroy you or forget the solemn covenant he made with your ancestors
[5] Jeremiah 51:9 - We would
have healed Babylon,
but she cannot be healed; let us leave her and each go to his own land
[6] 1 John 1:9 - But if we confess our sins to
him, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
[7] Luke 15:4 - What man of you, having a
hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in
the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
[8] Isaiah 63:4 - IT WAS FOR ME THE DAY OF VENGEANCE; THE YEAR FOR ME TO REDEEM HAD COME.
[9] Ezekiel 26:2-21 - The gateway to the rich trade routes to the east
has been broken. I will bring
many nations against you like the waves of the
sea crashing against your shoreline. I will destroy
the walls with battering rams and tear down its
towers. You will become the prey of many
nations, with horses, chariots, charioteers, and great army, your mainland
villages will be destroyed by the sword. They will plunder all
your riches and merchandise. I will destroy your
lovely homes, the whole coastline will tremble
at the sound of your fall, everything
is lost— your riches and wares, your sailors and pilots, your ship
builders, merchants, and warriors. The merchants
among the NATIONS SHAKE THEIR HEADS AT THE SIGHT OF YOU, for you have come to a horrible end IN ONE HOUR
[10] 2 Samuel 16:13 - And as
David and his men went along the road, Shimei went along the hillside opposite
him and cursed as he went, threw stones at him and KICKED UP DUST.
[11] Jeremiah 51:61-64 - When
you get to Babylon, see that you read all
these words aloud; you will destroy this place, so that
neither man nor animal will live in it; it will be desolate forever. Tie
a STONE to it and throw it into
the Euphrates So will Babylon sink to rise no more
[12] Revelation 9:20-21 - They did not stop worshiping demons, and idols o gold,
silver, bronze, stone and wood-idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
Nor did they repent of their murders, their MAGIC ARTS, their sexual
immorality or
their thefts.
[13] 1 Timothy 4:1-2 - In the
latter times SOME SHALL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing
spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their
conscience seared with a hot iron;
[14] 2 Timothy 3:1-7 - People
will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive,
disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving,
slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous,
rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - HAVING A
FORM OF GODLINESS but
denying its power. Always learning but never able
to acknowledge the truth. HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
[15] 1 Samuel 3:7 - SAMUEL DID NOT YET KNOW THE LORD
because he had never had a message from the LORD before.
[16] John 14:6-7 - I
am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father
except through Me.
[17] Genesis 7:10 - And AFTER THE SEVEN DAYS the floodwaters came on
the earth.
[18] Isaiah
22:22 - I
will give him the keys and WHEN HE CLOSES DOORS, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO OPEN
THEM
