The Sounding
of the Trumpets
The
Fifth and Sixth Trumpets - Fallen Star
The
Bottomless Pit - Locust – Plague
Woe Number
One
5th Trumpet – Sun and Sky darkened
Revelation 9:1-2 - THE FIFTH ANGEL sounded his trumpet, and I saw a STAR
that had fallen from the sky to the earth.
The star was given the KEY to the SHAFT of the Abyss.
2 When HE opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke
from a gigantic furnace.
The sun and sky were DARKENED by the SMOKE from the Abyss.
Based
on the scriptures, this FALLEN STAR is different,[1] it
is a Fallen
Angel.[2] Probably Satan himself,[3]
who unlocks the ABYSS,
which
is the abode of demons and beast which release destruction on the world. John reports of a “HE”, a person; Satan’s
name is “Lucifer”
which means “brightness”
or “Morning Star”.[4] Satan disguises
himself as an ANGEL OF
LIGHT.[5]
This IS NOT the Anti-Christ because the Anti-Christ is
a mortal person, this is a fallen angel.
He is given the key to the Abyss.
Since Jesus holds all the keys to death and hell, Jesus is the one who gives the
Key to Satan
who had not just fallen from
heaven, but was kicked out and hurled down to earth.[6]
He now has freedom that he has never had
before and from the ABYSS he has at his
bidding grotesque
demonic creatures that resemble LOCUST.
In the OT this SHAFT seems to be called Sheol and in the NT it
is called Hell
or Hades.
The SHAFT leads
to the ABYSS or bottomless pit which is a prison with darkness that is so
dark you can feel it.[7]
This is where demons and the spirits of
the dead of all ages are housed in the underworld.[8] It is so feared that even the demons begged
not to be sent there.[9]
Some Students of the Word BS embraces that there is an actual SHAFT on earth that leads down to this ABYSS.
The ABYSS is also SYMBOLIC of horrors to be released; drugs, violence, famine, dictatorships,
terrorism, anarchy, natural disasters, weather manipulation, nuclear
annihilation, chemical and biological warfare and stuff we don’t
even know about yet.
SMOKE from the fire of
this great
furnace billows forth from the ABYSS creating a vicious worldwide SMOG which darkens the day and pollutes the
air making it very hard to breathe; scary stuff..
After the Tribulation, the Angel of God
will lock Satan in
this same ABYSS during the
thousand year reign of Christ, and then Satan will be released for a short season.[10]
Demonic Locust - like Scorpions
Revelation 9:3-4 - And out of the smoke LOCUSTS came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.
4 They were told not to
HARM the grass of
the earth or any plant or tree,
but only those PEOPLE WHO DID NOT HAVE THE SEAL OF GOD on their foreheads.
Scorpions
were common to Israel with some species growing to 6 inches in length, scorpions were
considered “symbolic”
of painful
judgment.
SUFFERING - This plague is similar to the one
wrought by Moses,[11]
but this time the locust were not allowed to harm the earth, only evil people
that did not have THE SEAL OF
GOD. The 144,000 sealed Jews would be safe AND
other believers that had accepted Christ.
When you receive Christ, you have the “SEAL” of protection and ownership of
the Holy
Spirit.[12]
Torture
Revelation 9:5-6 - They were NOT given
power to kill
them, but only to TORTURE
THEM for five months. And the agony they suffered was like
that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
6 During those days men will seek death, but will not find it;
they will long to die, but death
will elude them.
In
addition to all the other plagues, THEY
STING LIKE A SCORPION with the pain and suffering they inflict
lasting for 5
MONTHS, but it’s not lethal. Death takes a five month holiday. Their soul is
griped with terror and horror just
seeing one of these creatures. The torment is so intense that men will wish they could die and try to commit suicide,
but cannot.
Many students of the Word BS debate
over whether it is Satan who wants to keep these people alive because
they are the very ones that will be in his corner giving him the worship and
praise he so desires OR is it God that won’t let them die because this is
the consequences of their sinful rebellion which requires punishment.
At any rate there is no indication in
scripture that these wicked unsaved men ever call out to God for help or
redemption.
Interestingly God similarly
used HORNETS[13] to drive people out of the land by stinging
them.
Note; when Satan goes duck hunting, he shoots them with his mark,
but does not go after them. He goes
after the ducks on the ground that are still flapping, because he knows the others
are already in his bag.
Revelation 9:7-11 - The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore
something like crowns
of gold, and their faces resembled
human faces.
8 Their hair was like women's hair,
and their teeth were like lions' teeth.
9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron,
and the sound of their wings was
like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle.
10 They had TAILS AND
STINGS LIKE SCORPIONS,
and in their tails
they had power to TORMENT PEOPLE FOR FIVE MONTHS.
11 They had as KING over them the angel of the Abyss,
whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.
In
Italy locust are called “cavaletta” which translates “little
horses” as some of them resemble a horse. In Germany they are called “Heupferd”
meaning “hay-horse”. These are hellish creatures possessed by Hell’s worst demons and fallen angels and look similar to an
armored horse. They slowly and uniformly
swarm like a locust army, sound like rain and can FLY. This description is LITERAL and you are seeing the true
characteristics of a demonic creature.
They are “spirit beings” that have been given power and therefore they are indestructible by man.
Locust do not have a king, but these do.[14] Their King, Abaddon
in Hebrew
means “destruction”
and Apollyon in Greek means “destroyer”. These are the same two characteristic of Satan
and his demons.
The King is a fallen angel, one that rules
over the abyss and has been locked away with his demon subjects.[15] Their King is not Satan although
he is in control.
In my BS, I see these Locust or
scorpions symbolic of something that is more advanced
than our modern day Apache Helicopter which
can unleash hell-fire
missiles. The sting of the
scorpion could actually be a modern day airborne device spraying bio-chemical and nerve gas.
Just saying.
One Woe down - Two more to Go
Revelation 9:12 - The first
woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.
While
this woe is past, their SUFFERING continues for 5 months. This first Woe seems to introduce us to the second half of the
Tribulations known as the GREAT
TRIBULATIONS.
In my Belief System,
there are multiple things that mark the beginning of the 3 ½ year mark of the Great
Tribulations. Parts of the
book of Revelation
are not in chronological order and John sometimes pulls up in his HELICOPTER
and looks down and gives us an overview of all the incredible sights he is
seeing, past, present and future, some things he does not understand,
but continues to write nevertheless.
So from time to time we have chapters which I call INFORMATIONAL CHAPTERS that give us insight to things not
mentioned before. The next TWO WOES coming
up bring
on even worse trouble.
This
is where we are.
ü
The Antichrist is already head of the revived Roman Empire and is supported
by the Roman Catholic Church plus the United Nations.
ü
Russia will invade Palestine around the middle
of the Tribulation period, but the Jews are reinforced by the Antichrist with
his false Peace Covenant with Israel.
ü
Russia is judged by God and sent home in defeat. They are not the
200,000,000 man army.
Woe number
Two
6th Trumpet – Four angels loosed
Revelation 9:13-15 - THE SIXTH
ANGEL sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice
coming from the horns
of the golden
altar that is before God.
14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release THE FOUR ANGELS who are bound at
the great river EUPHRATES."
15 And the four angels who had been kept
ready for this very
HOUR and DAY and MONTH
and YEAR were released to
KILL A THIRD OF
MANKIND.
The Euphrates River is prominent in
history. In the beginning it flowed from
the Garden
of Eden, later Babylon was situated on it, and soon a 200,000,000 man
army will cross it.
Did
you see it? J.
Vernon McGee says this is in the vicinity of the Garden of Eden, where Adam sinned, Cain killed
Abel, the place of the first war, Noah’s flood, tower of Babel and where
idolatry began.
NOTE: God’s angels
are not bound, only
wicked angels are bound. It
is the VOICE of Jesus Christ that releases these angels and they kill 1/3rd
of mankind. This now makes a
total of one
half of the world population killed.
In case you forgot, that would now be a total of 3,429,383,403 dead people.
The HOUR and DAY and MONTH and YEAR means God has LITERALLY a SPECIFIC
TIME already
planned for the “DAY OF THE
LORD”.
200,000,000 Army – This occurs just before the middle of the tribulation period.
Revelation 9:16 - The number of the mounted troops was
TWO HUNDRED MILLION. I heard their number.
Probably this large number is just symbolic
and means that there were so many in the army, you could not count them. This is similar to “ten
thousand times ten thousand” angels. But running with this number, the four fallen angels would have command of an army of 50 MILLION demons or men each. Good
Grief.
Revelation 9:17-19 - The horses and riders I saw in my
vision looked like this:
Their
breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and
yellow
as sulfur.
The heads of
the HORSES resembled
the heads of lions,
and out of
their mouths came
fire, smoke and sulfur.
18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues
of fire, smoke and sulfur
that came out of their mouths.
19 The power of the horses was in their
mouths and in their tails; for
their tails were like snakes,
having heads with which they inflict injury.
The four angels at the
Euphrates River release an army of 200,000,000 men or
demons. We are not actually told where
this army comes from, but by the description given by John, you can see clearly
that they are DEMONICALLY
CONTROLLED and will come overland via the EUPHRATES.
Many
students of the Word BS embraces
that this is the INVASION of a literal 200,000,000 mortal
man army which certainly could be produced by China, Japan and India. Other Students BS embrace that this army is from the
demonic world symbolized
by the LOCUST.
Population
§ Japan has a population of 127,390,000 – or just 1.85% of the world’s population.
§ Russia has a
population of 141,927,297 –
mentioned “from the North” a little
more at 2.06%
§ U.S.A. has a population
of 310,411,000 referred to as the “coastal countries” about 4.52%
§ India has a population of 1,382,000,000 which is a world population of 19.1%
§
China has a population of 1,402,860,000 which is an overwhelming populace of 19.5%.
In my BS, I feel John is doing the best he can at
explaining what he had never seen before; this
was actually a description of a huge army from the East in modern warfare with something MORE
ADVANCED
than our Apache
helicopters and tanks. Something
that even we have never seen.
The fire,
smoke and sulfur are certainly
characteristics of a thermonuclear war. Just saying
Did you see it? Fire, Smoke and burning Sulfur are the same LITERAL plagues that are mentioned during the
complete destruction of Sodom and Gorman.
Whether
this INVASION
OF THE BODY SNATCHERS are plain old run of the mill demonic
creatures from the ABYSS or a great army from the East, the results are the same; it’s
bad news and we need to REPENT of our sins.
What if this army is in addition to the LOCUST that have already been released? We have had wars all over the world, but
never a real WHOLE WORLD
WAR with
every nations involved.

Did not Repent
Revelation 9:20 - The rest of mankind that were not killed
by these plagues still DID NOT REPENT of the work of their hands;
they DID NOT STOP worshiping demons, and idols of
gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood-idols that
cannot see or hear or walk.

Nor DID THEY REPENT of their murders, THEIR
MAGIC ARTS, their sexual immorality
or their thefts.
God
in His mercy allowed many to live, but they continued in their sins and
did not repent.[16] Millions of people are deceived with the ONE WORLD RELIGION as they
continued to worship the demonic spirit world and the occult.[17] Idol worship is
actually demon worship.
The magic arts of the occult refer to the use of DRUGS. Pharmakia;
(Greek for pharmacy), further
translated means Witchcraft or Sorcerer. There are many organizations of
Witchcraft in the world today, just check out “Barns & Nobel” bookstore for
an eye opener; they have a whole section on the occult.
The SEVEN
BIG SINS during
the tribulation are Drugs and Witchcraft, Demon worship and Murder, Crime and Theft, and sexual activity
outside of the one partner (male/female) marriage.
You would think that folks would call out
to the God, repent
and beg
for mercy, but NOT. Modern Spiritualism
today is things of the world becoming our idol.
Being so caught up in how our body looks, our collection of objects, our
next car, and the next big step up in the company, this consumes us.
A friend, after looking at HOW MUCH TIME I spent on my Lionel train table and
collection; said,
“Nice shrine, there
must be an ALTER in here somewhere.” Sure
made me start thinking.
There
are three sins that will cause God to give up seeking
after you.[18]
1)
They knew God, but refused to accept Him.
2)
They did not want the knowledge of God in their
mind.
3)
They changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped
and served
the things created instead of the creator.
Ok, here’s where we are
We are now in the middle of the tribulation period. –
Antichrist
breaks his covenant with Israel. - The two Witness are
slain – The remnant of Jews are protected – Satan is cast out of heaven – All believers
are persecuted – Jerusalem is “trodden
under” by the Gentiles.

neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, their foolish
hearts were darkened... God gave them over to
shameful lusts and to a depraved mind He gave them over
in the sinful desires of their hearts to do what ought not to be done
